  • "In late 2018 I researched cycling tours in northern Italy and picked Velo Tours Australia for my 2019 trip for 2 reasons; firstly, their Grande Italia tour ticked all the boxes in terms of ride destinations and climbs. And secondly for their competitive pricing. My initial enquiries were met with prompt, informative responses from Kim and I knew I'd made the right call.
    Kim and Kerry did not disappoint. Accommodation and food met and often exceeded expectations. They managed the needs and wishes of a diverse group very well (thanks again Kerry for doing the extra 50km around Lake Como and up the back of the Ghisalla with me in the heat when everyone else bailed after the first 50. It was a bucket list thing and a real highlight for me). Finishing the tour with lakeside accommodation on Lake Como was a stroke of genius.
    Additional ride guides PC Pete and Brad were a big help and great company as were the other paying customers. Now, for some reason, I can't get the Velo Tours Pyrenees/Tour de France tour out of my head.........."

What an amazing trip my son Dylan and I had with Velo Tours. The effort Kim and Kerry put in to making it a trip of a lifetime is amazing. Thank you both for being such great hosts. The cycling was awesome, accommodation first class and many yummy food options. Dylan and I will be back to do the Italy trip 🚴‍♂️

Velo Tours exceeded all expectations. The French Alps tour was amazing in every way. Crazy amount of support on and off the bike. Nothing was too much trouble for the team. Did the Pyrenees tour in 2019 with Kim & Kerry - by far the best cycling trip I have ever done - very flexible and friendly family run tour group and the best way to see the TDF and ride in the mountains at your own pace 👍👍👍👍

The Alpes tour was fantastic. This is a highly professional team with a personal touch. All you need to do is cycle, eat, sleep and then repeat. A great balance between terrific cycling experiences, fun and food without having to worry about anything other than your legs. Will be back for more.

I've just returned from cycling in the French Alps. This was my 3rd trip with Velo Tours and I can assure you they are the best. Kerry & Kim along with Tim & Gordie guarantee a great cycling trip and take care of everything. I have recommended them to friends with the guarantee that if they are not happy I'll pay for the trip, this demonstrates just how good they are. I'll be back on Tour in 2020 celebrating my 50th Birthday with Velo Tours on the Giro Tour, can't wait.

Just wanted to say how awesome our time has been on the Italy Giro tour 2018. Awesome driving, incredible food, great accommodation and the best riding ever. Really impressed with the rides Kerry and Kim and Henk have orchestrated for us. Caught up with a couple of tour stages, rode in heat, rain and snow. Conquered the big rides - Stelvio, Mt Zoncolan, Gavia, Montorolo and had fun at Lake Como. Nothing short of spectacular. Looking forward to our next adventure with you.

Having just finished a wonderfully challenging tour of the Pyrenees I wish it would never have ended. The Velotours staff go above and beyond to ensure each and every one of us left with our bucket lists ticked and a huge smile on our faces. We were all treated like family, not just customers, and relished the opportunity to "live like a local" in Luchon. Au Revoir......until next time

My husband and I decided to do the Velotours Alps tour in July and every bit of it was absolutely exceptional. The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful, but what made it even more special were the tour hosts, Kim and Kerry and their dedicated staff. From the moment we arrived they made us feel special. Nothing was a problem. They went out of their way to make sure that individual needs were accommodated and this ranged from adjusting our daily route rides (to suit different riding skills and interests or weather) to dinner menus, etc. Their experience and their customer-centric focus meant they had always anticipated the needs of their participants. I kid you not, these tour hosts are amazing! Riding through the Alps was made even more memorable because of the Velotours hosts.

I have just come back from doing the East Coast Tassie Tour with 9 of my cycling buddies. We all had the most amazing time and all of us rated the trip 10/10. What made it so special for us was the way Kerry and Kim looked after us. They really are the most amazing hosts and it was the little extra things they did for us that made it truly memorable. Nothing was a problem even when we wanted to change a few things like going bushwalking or visits to MONA - they ferried us around. When one of our guys complained about his 'snoring' room buddy, they even gave up their room at the hotel so he could have his own room. Would we go with them again? ABSOLUTELY and we're already starting to plan our West Coast Tassie Tour.

  • "I just returned from tour with Kim, Kerry and Henk at the 2018 Giro . It’s easy to write I loved it and enjoyed every moment but that’s not what I want to say the most .... I did have an absolute ball and ate awesome food in amazing locations....I did get totally looked after and spoilt and truely felt like I was on holidays .... But what I wanted to say is that I am a terrible descender on my bike and to be honest I was frightened to go on such a tour in the Dolomites!!! What was I thinking ... these are not hills, they are mountains !!! If it wasn’t for Kim, Kerry and Henk, I couldn’t have gone to these mountains.... I love riding UP but it limits me terribly that I can’t go down!!! Not only did Kim pick me up and drive me down, but also encouraged me and helped me to get down eventually on my own ! Thanks guys .... I can’t thank you enough , I gained some confidence and made an awesome bunch of new friends .... we are already planning our next one xxx."

There were 9 of us who had the big dream of riding in France and experiencing the TDF in all its glory. The planning began early and it became apparent that company for us was Velo Tours. Both Kerry and Kim's customer service ethic made it very hard to choose any other company. They ensured that all of our individual requirements were understood and dealt with sensitively and all communication was first class including the newsletters which had us whipped into a lather of excitement.
When the tour finally came around, the commitment and dedication of the Velo Tours team to ensure that this was the 'experience of a lifetime' became a reality. We all had a fantastic time both on the bike and off the bike, including at the 'Velo Tours' Aussie Corner' on the Alpe d'Huez stage.
